Washington and Lee University Information Session

We are delighted to host Nicole More, the Associate Director of International Admissions at Washington and Lee University. She will be talking about Washington and Lee University with a special focus on their unique Honor System. Her session will also give an overview of Liberal Arts Colleges, talk about studying in Southern US and focus on their popular courses which include Economics, Business, Journalism and Politics. 

Brief Information about Washington and Lee University:

Washington and Lee University is a top Liberal Arts and Sciences University of approximately 1,850 students located approximately 3 hours by car from Washington, DC on the United States’ east coast.  It is probably most known for the following programs of study: Business, Politics/Int’l Studies, Journalism, and STEM research as a small liberal arts university.

It is the 9th oldest university in the US and its motto is  “Not unmindful of the future." They pride themselves on their strong academics where students are challenged by their
professors to think critically, act globally, develop research, and build leadership skills; while exploring their world and developing the necessary skills to succeed in the future. 

It is one of the few top liberal arts and sciences universities with a fully accredited business school, a fully accredited program in journalism, and an undergraduate degree in engineering. It supports funded independent research opportunities and close collaboration with faculty members.
