In conversation with Anant Ahuja (CEO & Co-Founder, Good Business Lab) 

We are delighted to invite you to a talk by Anant Ahuja (UPenn'12).

We will be discussing Anant's intellectual evolution from his education in Political Science at UPenn to his leadership role at a big apparel export company, to his current entrepreneurial work in economic development. We will also hear more on Anant's journey as a DJ and a music producer. It will be an engaging conversation involving Anant's varied interests in Business, Economics and Music, and how he hopes to create positive impact through all of his work. 

Speaker Bio:

Anant Ahuja leads the organizational development team at Shahi, an apparel export company based in India. With a focus on development, he is eager to address business challenges around worker welfare and sustainability, such that the industry can be a strong force of development in times to come.

Anant graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

In his free time, Anant (Ase) is a producer, DJ and member of the music collective known as MadStarBase. Growing up on the sounds of 90s hip-hop, Ase is highly influenced by producers such as Dr Dre, Timbaland, J Dilla, and cites his favorite rappers as 2Pac, Nas, and B.I.G. The same way that hip-hop samples music from all genres, Ase’s DJ sets blend classic beats with a wide range of soulful sounds. He has produced various instrumentals for MC’s Risk, Sik Vik, and Akash and has released a handful of tracks with his MSB crew mates. Ase is also a member of the Boxout Soundsystem, a DJ collective formed through the online community radio, boxout.fm
