The main advantage of SCU is the proximity to Silicon Valley, many reputed tech companies like Google, Facebook, Intel, HP etc and several start ups. This would be a huge advantage if you plan to seek internships either in tech field or linking tech/ IT with law or cyber law.

Kids seemed truly happy! Some kids were on skateboards going for classes, cycles, etc. The infrastructure was also incredibly modern with very highly state of the art building designs, especially the college of liberal arts, library, cafeteria etc.

From most locals and also students on campus, the sense one gets is that it is very well reputed as one of the top 10 research universities in the US with large research endowments/ funds. This also means that there are many research opportunities on campus.

The academic experience seemed very intimate and individualized.

Students were unanimous in their view that the best part of the curriculum was the unique ‘co-op’ system – students are required to do 3 stints of 6 months each in their 5 years.
