Hi Arjun,

It was great to hear from you. Where all did your students apply? Any students interested in coming to the Claremont Colleges?

I've been fine, just swamped with work as the semester is coming to a close. I'm also unsure of my major currently, and am considering majors in economics or finance. I'll have to major off-campus at Pomona, or try designing an independent program of study at Mudd, which will be an interdisciplinary major combining Math, Economics, and Physics. That's one really cool thing about Mudd -- the ability to design one's own major, though it's best to think of it early in college rather than in one's sixth semester.

There isn't too much "fun stuff" I'm involved with at the moment. The only club I regularly participate in is the poker club on campus. Anunay and I were exploring the opportunity of starting a quiz club on Stanford campus, considering the significantly higher concentration of students from India there and the Bay Area in general. I recently also took part in a hackathon at Pomona along with another friend from Stanford. We came up with the idea of generating an ordered list of the dishes at a restaurant based on reviews currently available on the Internet. We'll continue working on this through the winter and see how that goes. If there are any specific questions that your students have, I'd be more than happy to talk to them about them in greater detail.

Best,

Rohan
