We are pleased to announce our first College Writing Workshop for students enrolling in colleges in 2013.

All students in US colleges discover that expectations for writing are both higher and much more frequent than ever before. In this workshop we will look at actual writing assignments from US course syllabi from a range of disciplines. We will discuss how to avoid plagiarism. We will also take the plunge with some writing exercises used in classes.

Faculty: Elisabeth Armstrong, Associate Professor of the Study of Women and Gender at Smith College, MA. Elisabeth has over fifteen years of experience in academia and has taught various writing seminars to students in their first year of college.

Date: Wednesday 22 May, 2013
