Oddle Writing Mentorship Program

The Oddle Mentorship Program pairs Edbrand’s trained mentors with high school students (Grades 9 to 12) interested in building their resumes through exposure to journalistic and creative writing processes. This program is a great way to show credibility, consistency, and genuine interest in writin which will play to your strengths when you build your resume!

You will be learning to write:
1. Columns
2. Features
3. Reviews

Students will also have access to four additional workshops:
Critical Thinking, Research Methodologies, Film Analysis, and Comic Writing

Program outcomes and benefits:
1. Get one-on-one mentorship to produce your own journalistic/creative writing pieces. Create your own portfolio of your writings by the end of the program.
2. Get 4 bylines for 4 of your pieces on Oddle.
3. Earn a certificate upon completion.

Durations:
Batch 1: 1st June-11th July (closed)
Batch 2: 19th July- 31st August (open)

Timings: (all sessions are compulsory)

Monday, 6 p.m - 7 p.m
Saturday 12:00 p.m - 1:30 p.m

Fees: 10,000 INR for the full program to be paid only after you are chosen for the program.


The deadline to submit your application for the SECOND batch is Friday, 9 July, 9 p.m. IST

What is it?

A Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival offers students thought-provoking mathematical problems in a social and cooperative atmosphere.

Students work individually or in groups for as long as they like to solve fun puzzles, problem sets, and games, with support provided by a facilitator.

Motivation comes from social interaction and collaboration, rather than from any prize, grade, medal, or ranking! You can find out more here: https://jrmf.org/

Who is it for?

Grades 8-12. We welcome all types of students - from those struggling with mathematics to those soaring in achievement.

Currently open to only Edbrand Students

Desnison is a liberal arts university in Ohio. Although economics, communication, biology, and psychology have the highest enrollment, students say some of the best majors are distinctive to Denison. The PPE major is effectively a triple major in philosophy, politics, and economics. New majors in data analytics and global commerce have also been added, as has a concentration in narrative nonfiction writing.

Trinity College (Hartford, Connecticut)

Trinity College is a highly selective, private liberal arts college in Hartford, Connecticut.
